Memphis, TN-- Baseline Publishing today announced that DiagnoSYS, an advanced
diagnostic utility for the Apple Macintosh, is now shipping to the public.
DiagnoSYS examines your Macintosh hard drives for installed software known to
cause conflicts. After searching its extensive database of system conflicts,
DiagnoSYS lists incompatibilities and proposes solutions based on information
it has obtained regarding your Macintosh.
The proliferation of System extensions causes problems for many Mac users.
System crashes are a daily occurrence, and the advent of System 7 has
complicated matters even further. Using detailed analysis and customized
reports, DiagnoSYS makes pinpointing the causes of system crashes a snap. Once
a problem has been isolated, DiagnoSYS offers step-by-step instructions for
resolving the conflict.
DiagnoSYS also allows data regarding extension conflicts to be exported in a
special “rule book” format for use with some extension management software.
DiagnoSYS builds on the strengths of its predecessor, INITInfo Pro, previously
released by Baseline Publishing. DiagnoSYS is an indispensable tool for network
administrators, support personnel, or anyone who deals with a multitude of
Macintoshes on a daily basis.
DiagnoSYS retails $99.95 and runs on any Macintosh from Plus to Quadra with 1
or more megabytes of memory using System 6.0.5 or greater. Two megabytes of
memory recommended. Not copy protected.
